Bcballer; your an idiot! Goth is not a religion in fact most goths, like myself, are anti religion! goth is all about being original, rejecting conventionality and acknowledging the world is a dark place full of horror...Also its about having a subculture to identify and feel confortable with.
like some people feel being ganstas and wearing oversized baggy cloths and others feel good with the california surfer theme clothes as some others feel comfortable wearing cut off plaid shirts and jeans with combat boots whats so wrong with that.

weeelll sorrrrryyyy if i am not "little miss sunshine" and wear pink summer dresses and go arround loving everyone and everything... i bet if i said i am into the latest fashions and like totaly love to be with the "in crowd" and that my favorite shows are like "gossip girl" and "the hills" and that California its so totally awesome no one would be like judging me....but like if you like, closer , you'll see most people are like so totaly un cool and its like such a bummer... and like BTW its not like i have to wear like piercings and have tatoos caue my skin its like so perfect i don't need to alter it!

forrestby the sea: i dont think you can say gothic doesnt exist, i don't know what you mena by that cause i know lots of people who are real goths and commited to the lifestyle as hard as it can be sometimes due to all the prejudice.

Broken soul girl....goth is against labels, so goth isn't. Those who claim to be goth are really not because those that are goth refuse to be labeled as such. So, again, goth doesn't even exist. :)
